So…I’ve been working on something. Something…big! No wait, something… BIG! Yeah, caps, underlined bright colored bold italics is way better.
Back in early 2014, shortly after our massive disappointment with the second installment of the Hobbit trilogy, we decided to kick some things into high gear. What does that mean? That means we started looking into our lifestyle more and the things we enjoyed doing and wanted to do. I guess sitting through three hours of Peter Jackson torture can do that to a person.
Anyway, we entered a contest for a one-month trip to Panama, which like each Hobbit movie thus far, also ended in massive disappointment. Seriously, watch our contest video and tell me if we should have won! I’m not bitter, though. We made some great friendships with some of the other contestants and the contest also led us down another path…and that path led us to:
- Researching more about Panama
- Deep thoughts about what I want to be when I grow up
- Selling all our stuff
- Moving to Panama
As some of my friends and loyal readers know (insert your “yeah, your 3 friends and 2 readers” joke here…And now insert my “oh yeah, a lot you know, I got 5 friends and 10 readers, stupid-head” comeback here). Okay, as some of you know I’ve been working on a book. And it’s done. And it’s for sale. And you should buy it. And read it. And like it. And buy my e-book as an e-stocking stuffer for your e-family and e-friends.
But first I’ll tell you what it’s about.
- Boy meets girl
- Boy marries girl
- Boy and girl play house for a while
- Boy and girl want a life change
- Boy and girl research moving abroad
- Boy and girl sell all their stuff
- Boy and girl move abroad
- Boy writes book detailing how to make said life change
The e-book is called “Sell All Your Stuff and Move Abroad”. There are worksheets, checklists and amusing firsthand experiences throughout – and of course my weird sense of humor is interspersed in there too.
It’s available for Kindle on Amazon, and PDF via Gumroad.
